EPIC’s Steph Itelman Named 2026 Denver Business Journal Outstanding Women in Business Honoree
EPIC Chief Impact Officer Steph Itelman was honored as a 2026 Outstanding Woman in Business by the Denver Business Journal, recognizing her leadership and contributions to advancing employer-based childcare solutions.
The annual award celebrates women leaders making a meaningful impact through their work, organizations and communities. Itelman was recognized for her leadership and commitment to helping employers develop solutions that support working parents and strengthen access to childcare.
Following the announcement, Itelman sat down with the Denver Business Journal to discuss her work at EPIC, why childcare solutions matter to employers and families and the experiences that have shaped her commitment to this work.
Itelman celebrated alongside fellow EPIC Board member Antoinette Gawin, president and CEO of Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, who was also named a 2026 Outstanding Woman in Business. The two were among this year’s honorees recognized at the Denver Business Journal’s awards ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 6, at the Seawell Ballroom at the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
